I’m glad this are moving well for you. Are you buying it or renting? I forget. If you are buying like us, how far along are you on that side of things? The decorating side of our flat could be done much quicker, but we’re waiting to actually own the place before work goes at full speed – because we’re supposed to be buying it undecorated! We’ve had problems with solicitors wanting answers to LOTS of questions, so if you are buying, and haven’t started this process happening I would suggest you do!

We can’t be sure until the mortgage goes through. We have electricity sorted now-plugs, lights etc, so only a bit more prep, and then decorating – paint, varnish and wallpaper! All the flooring will be done in one day, so will need to choose carpet closer to the time. Our kitchen and shower room are fitted and fully tiled, so that doesn’t need to be done.
